Interpool : enter 4th day of play on Wednesday (08.11.2001)
The calendar for the 2001 Interpools clearly defines the role of the organisers as well as the main actors of the competition, that will go right to the 7th day of play. The encounters so far, have been very exiting with high suspense and very tight scores on the one hand, and unhappy surprises on the other hand. During the 3rd day of play last Saturday in the Bertoua pool "A", Aigle of Dschang pulled a tie with ASMY 1er (o-o). The central referee of the encounter was Ebot Augustine. Meanwhile, Cercle Sportif Opep battled it out with Avenir FC.
AS Sangmelima on the other hand clashed with Vipère of Banyo. Epanlo Efong was the Central referee. The atmosphere surrounding the competitions has so far not known any major incidence. But or the fact that some teams who came in confident of themselves like As Sangmelima who bought 22 new mattresses to prepare for the event are very disgruntled after the first three matches in Pool "A". On to the
fourth day of play in Bertoua Pool "A" next Wednesday november7, the fixtures are as follows:
- Aigle of Dschang vs Vipère of Banyo; central referee Akono; A1, Singui; A2, Moukoko and A4, Gobe.
- NSMY 1e vs Avenir FC: Central referee Mbando, A1 Tadjonang; A2 Sukam and A4 Cobe
- Botafogo Fc vs AS Sangmelima: Central referee Bati, A1 Njoya, A2 Njifon and A4 Gobe.
- In Pool "B" Ngaoundere, Victorial United will open the competitions against As Mungo with Eyehe as the Central referee; A1 Endeng, A2 Bekolo and A4 Ndema.
- Sahel FC vs Stade of Bertoua; Central referee Ngono, A1 Tiegum, A2 Asang and A4 Ndema.
- Rangers vs Sosucam of Mbandjock; Central referee Gousoumou, A1 Njocky, A2 Ngatchou and A4 Ndema.
- Bamboutos remain on standby.
- FECAFOOT official in that light say all is set for the intepools to take its normal course with no hitches.
