Carlos Kameni’s agent has confirmed that a number of English clubs have expressed an interested in signing the Cameroon international. The 19-year-old is keen to move to England from Le Havre and several clubs are monitoring his situation. Kameni was close to a move to Wolves last summer, but the deal fell through after the African ace was refused a work permit.
The player’s representative Frank Trimboli of Base Soccer revealed that a work permit was no longer an
issue as the player had obtained a French passport and that he was attracting interest from some English clubs.
"We don’t know anything from Fulham, but there is some interest in Carlos although nothing is concrete," Trimboli told skysports.com
"Obtaining a work permit is no longer a problem as he now has a work permit and he is keen to come to England.
"Carlos is under contract with Le Havre and we will have to wait and see what happens."
