Song anxious to start Bayern transfer talks (09.03.2002)
West Ham United defender Rigobert Song has urged Bayern Munich to follow up their interest in him.
"What more could you want from life? I would be happy to go there and play for honours every week," said the Cameroon star, currently on loan at FC Cologne.
As onefootball.com reported earlier this week, Bayern managing director Uli Hoeness is tracking the 25-year-old.
But
£3 million-rated Song warned the Munich giants to move quickly. "It is not just Bayern. I think there are lots of teams here who want me and I am very happy to know that, but for the moment I am under contract at West Ham," he added.
"I am at Cologne and want to play the last nine games there well, as I have been doing. I don`t want to think right now what might happen, I will leave that to my agent."
